The author tells the story of a famous geisha in the popular district of Gion in Kyoto. For those who don't know where that is; It's in beautiful Japan! The time is during the '30s and '40s. Arthur Golden introduces the world to an unknown society. We follow a journey not only into the center of the geisha culture but straight into the heart of Japan.

This is nice, but I'm going to give you a bit of constructive criticism. I would like to know a bit more about the social setting of your book. How is it like being a Geisha? Can you relate it to something in our culture?
